Creams, gels and patches are applied to your skin, allowing hormones to be absorbed. Creams are typically applied daily. Patches are usually applied twice weekly. These methods are applied in the convenience of your home. However, everyone's absorption rate varies, which could lead to fluctuations in hormone levels. 

Injectables

Injections are injecting hormones into your muscle. Injections are less often, typically once to twice weekly. This method is performed in the convenience of your home.  

Pellets

BHRT pellet therapy is placement of custom compounded bioidentical hormone into subcutaneous tissue of the body. This procedure is quick, simple and performed in-office. BHRT Pellet therapy offers steady levels of hormones throughout the body. BHRT pellet therapy has the potential to reduce unwanted hormonal imbalance symptoms. The pellets slowly release hormones as the body requires them, producing consistent steady levels throughout the day. Pellet therapy required fewer administration compared to other forms, typically every 3-6 months. 

Troches

Troches are lozenges that dissolve under your tongue. Troches are performed in the convenience of your home but may have to be administered multiple times daily. Absorption can vary depending on saliva production.
